I went to a friends house & my son played with her 4 kids. First time they had met and they all got along! LOL When we left she sent me a text and they were already asking when we would be over next. Too funny! Then we went to Applebee's for lunch (his choosing) and bought him PE shoes for school. He was ready for our time to end though and hurry to grandma and grandpa's. Guess he is growing up huh?

Hi Melissa, It sounds like you had a great day with your son and it is a nice feeling when kids meet someone new and they get along. Lunch at Applebee's sounds good and I know all to well that time with my kids is getting shorter. My son is 15 and he moved back to Arizona and I'm in Florida it kills me to be away from him. He wanted to finish his high school years with his friends and I hope to see him soon. A pre-fall day not sure where your at, but here in FL it is no where near fall. I look forward to it cooling off.
ReplyDeleteJanelle, you sound so positive! My kids never chose any dining place but McDonalds. Now in their 20's, they want me to take them to Olive Garden and foot the bill. It IS still hot here in FL, so enjoy your beautiful day, and good luck in class.
