What a great weekend it was!  We had my family's annual weiner roast/hay rack ride.  The kids (ages 2-9) had a blast!!  We also went to the apple orchard and grandma bought them pumpkins.  Now if I can only hold off my son and not carve it yet!  LOL 

I am very excited for this weekend!  We are having our annual family bonfire/hayrack ride/fireworks.  My brother and sister along with their families are coming in will go to an apple orchard then for pizza!  The younger kids like that!  We also get pumpkins too!  The weather is supposed to be co-operative as well.  Lower 60's during the day and cooler at night.  Perfect for the s'mores and hot chocolate!  YUM!  Have a great week everyone!

Signed up for classes for next term!

I will be taking A & P I (Wed night) and Automation of Health Information on Mon.  This is a flex seminar.  They are not my favorite.  I have  had two so far, this class being one, and I am still not sure about them.  I guess they have to do it. 

In need of some R & R....and enjoy it!

Seems like this week has been so busy!  I am getting ready for a garage sale, work and trying to get a little ahead in my school work.  I seem to be managing so far.....but man!  It's tough!  I need a massage or something....however I know me...I would be laying thinking "I could be doing this now or that now." I wouldn't let myself enjoy the relaxation.  But, after the garage sale the money will be nice, school will pay off and I will get a great job, thats fun too! 

I can't believe this is the end of the 4th week!  WOW!  this is flying by...almost half way with this term!  I just started in January and I am amazed how much I have learned not just about myself but everything towards my degree.  It is all coming together and I am very excited to finish.  Of course, it will be February 2012.  So, I have a ways to go, but I am saving already for the airline tickets and everything else.  My son, 9 yrs old, is so excited to go to the beach.  I told him we will go to the keys, hopefully Key West.  I am excited too to see Miami again.  I used to live there 20 yrs ago. 

I learned about plagiarism this week.  I learned that I once had a boss that took my ideas and sold them as her own.  I knew at the time it was wrong but didn't have any evidence to use against her.  She got along well with the human resource department and also the president of the company.  So I would have never had a leg to stand on.  Anyway, I am no longer there and I am a better person now cause I am pursuing a better education and landed on both feet!  LOL

Lunch date with my son today!

I went to a friends house &  my son played with her 4 kids.  First time they had met and they all got along!  LOL  When we left she sent me a text and they were already asking when we would be over next.  Too funny!  Then we went to Applebee's for lunch (his choosing) and bought him PE shoes for school.  He was ready for our time to end though and hurry to grandma and grandpa's.  Guess he is growing up huh? 
It was a beautiful pre-fall day. 

WOW!  What a weekend this is going to be.  This morning I ran a 5K, 3.1 miles, and I got 2nd place in my age group (there were 4 total too! LOL) plus I got my personal best record.  That is a good way to start the day.  It was a pretty cool morning, lower 50's.  Tomorrow my husband and I are going to the Cubs game.  He has never been so this is a first for him.  Then stay at my sisters house south of Chicago.  It is supposed to be in the 70's up there so I hope it will be warm and we are in the sun!!
